Today and into darkness, we shot what we call The Van Scene. It’s actually divided into parts, into different scenes. Asuncion takes her daughter Deysi to meet Eddie at an anonymous spot in the road in Mexico.
He shows her the back of what appears to be an empty old panel van. They hear whispering from the van, urging to get inside… of course, it has a false panel, and there are people inside to be transported illegally across the border. The whispering, the mood, an eye spied through a ragged hole in the panel… Asuncion gets spooked, and she doesn’t want to take her daughter in there.
Eddie proceeds to convince them…
