As we countdown to the local cast and crew screening, a few collaborators and friends of the production have queried why the info wasn’t promoted here on the Ardent site. In our ongoing efforts here to share information on this process, here’s a word on that.
Of course, certain film festivals require and are always looking for films to have Premiere status. Because of ongoing communication with a festival, it’s important that The Devil’s Tail hang on to its Canadian Premiere status for the moment. Thus, no advertising on this site or ticket sales for this screening.
In this case its entirely appropriate anyway; it is time for the cast and crew local to Toronto to be able to see what they contributed to and to celebrate where this small film has gotten so far.
But having said all that, friends of the production need to be able to find the info in a quick and handy way, so…
the private screening of THE DEVIL’S TAIL in Toronto will take place on
Saturday June 13th, the doors open @ 7 pm

Innis Town Hall
2 Sussex Avenue, Toronto ON, M5S 1J5
Used for Hot Docs and other film festivals, Innis is located within Innis College on the University of Toronto’s downtown campus, at the NW corner of St. George Street and Sussex Avenue, just south of Bloor Street. One entrance is on Sussex and one entrance is on St. George.
It is a five minute walk from the nearest subway stop, St. George Station.
A Cash Bar will be open post screening in the attached Innis Cafe.
We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating your contribution to the movie that is now an Official Selection of The Orlando Hispanic Film Festival and a Bronze Palm Winner of the Mexico International Film Festival.
We wish the Mexican and the US actors were able to join us, but…
