August, yes August.
Blisteringly hot today and it’s a big work month for us.
Had a meeting last week regarding foreign sales and August is the month where we find out if we can add another set of laurel leaves to our film.
I’m also excited about the possibility of Mexico screenings – public or private – and the whole digital distribution mountain. I do want to distribute online, I’m excited by the possibilities it brings to small features, but it is of course, another full time job…

I don’t know if Canadians are allowed to complain about the heat. Especially since when we were shooting you view the 80 F days we were getting to be pretty great. Try 105 today with no A/C. We should make the next one in Toronto so I can get a nice change of scene. Best of luck with the festivals though. Yeah Laurel Leaves!
